YOUR DISABILITY LIFE COACH

ABOUT SYLVIA LONGMIRE

Sylvia is a service-disabled Air Force veteran, a "serial" entrpreneur, and a subject matter expert and consultant on Mexico's drug war. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2005 and has become a very strong advocate for people with disabilties. Sylvia is the reigning Ms. Wheelchair USA 2016/2017, and is the President and founder of The PreJax Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides college scholarships to students who either have MS or a parent with MS. She writes about worldwide wheelchair accessible travel for her blog, Spin the Globe, and is in the process of opening a new accessible travel agency.

In 2016, Sylvia felt she had reached an incredibly positive place in her life. She was managing three companies on her own from home, traveling the world on her own (without the ability to walk), and enjoying being a single mother to two wonderful boys. She was getting more involved in disability advocacy and wanted to find some way to help other people with disabilities achieve higher levels of success like she had. This was when she discovered to opportunity to become a life coach, and specialize in helping others like her. Sylvia works best with clients who approach being coached with curiosity, openness, enthusiasm, and energy. She is very passionate about helping her clients discover new opportunities and qualities within themselves that they can use to move into the next phase of their lives.

Sylvia is a graduate of Coach University's Core Essentials Program, which is a part of the International Coach Federation's approved Accredited Coach Training Program track.
